Exclusively for H2 owners, the HUMMER H2 Driving Academy, is a three-day school designed to challenge the 4X4 novice as well as the veteran off-road enthusiast. The curriculum is intense, exciting, and highly recommended to fully experience the capabilities of your HUMMER vehicle. You'll sharpen the physical and mental skills needed for advanced off-road maneuvers as you push the HUMMER H2 to the limit!

Held at the state-of-the-art HUMMER training facility in South Bend, Indiana, the Academy provides personalized instruction in the off-road basics and etiquette, followed by hands-on exercises and behind-the-wheel challenges designed to meet one goal - to make you a more capable HUMMER handler!

They'll teach you how to ford water, traverse precarious side slopes, navigate steep inclines and even climb verical ledges that seem insurmountable for any other vehicle. But, you won't just defy the obstacles of nature. You'll supplement your time on the trail with training in trip preparation, recovery techniques, and proper usage of the Global Positioning System. You'll drive away with the knowledge, skill, and confidence to use 100% of your HUMMER's potential.

This is NO ordinary classroom! The AM General Test Track in South Bend, Indiana, is located at the home of the HUMMER. The off-road trail winds through 320 acres of privately owned terrain with enough obstacles to keep an army busy... sometimes, more than one army!

In fact this is the test trail used to train the U.S. and several allied army forces in tactical maneuvers. Like them, you will pit your driving skills against against a myriad of twisted, rooted, moguled, stump-strewn mud runs; steep inclines; rediculously raked side slopes; rock crawls; sand pits; ravines; streams; ponds and more!
